Early Childhood
The JCC Early Childhood Department provides innovative programming for children ages 16 months to 6 years in warm and welcoming Jewish environment. Our primary goal is to provide a rich learning experience, where all our young participants explore new ideas and learn new skills.
Our facility maintains 20 modern, sunny classrooms, two beautiful playgrounds, a cheerful indoor playroom, access to gymnasiums and swimming pools and a full range of educational and recreational activities. Our experienced staff of certified teachers provides quality education to help your children realize their best potential.
Programs include The Leonard and Syril Rubin Nursery School (fully licensed by the State of NJ and accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children), a full-day kindergarten, year-round daycare, a Parenting Center featuring infant and toddler programs, after school enrichment classes, parent/child Judaic workshops, family events, holiday celebrations, inter-generational programs with seniors, field trips and more.
We are pleased that our Early Childhood programs are accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children. NAEYC administers the largest and most widely recognized accreditation system for all types of early childhood programs and child care centers. NAEYC is the nation's largest organization of early childhood educators. Early childhood programs accredited by the NAEYC Academy for Early Childhood Program Accreditation have voluntarily undergone a comprehensive process of internal self-study, invited external professional review to verify compliance with the criteria for High Quality Early Childhood Programs, and been found to be in substantial compliance with the criteria. The criteria can be found on NAEYC's web site at www.naeyc.org/accreditation.
Your child will be exposed to the very best that the JCC has to offer as they grow more aware, self-reliant and confident.
