bergenPAC-JCC Summer 2013 Cabaret Workshop

Ages 9-17, Monday-Friday, July 10-28, 9:30 am - 4:30 pm
Students under age 10 must be JCC members. Ages 10 and above may be members or non-members.

AN EXCITING THREE WEEK SUMMER CABARET WORKSHOP FOR INTERMEDIATE-ADVANCED STUDENTS CULMINATES IN 2 PERFORMANCES 

• An interview/audition is required. For intermediate-advanced students ages 9-17 with experience in Musical Theater.

• The workshop includes professional skill development in singing, sketch comedy, movement and acting/improv at BergenPAC with directors and instructors from New York City and Performing Arts at the JCC

• The cabaret-style performances will include specially chosen musical scenes, pop and rock songs, favorite numbers from Broadway shows and sketch comedy tailored to the talents and personalities of the performers. 

• The day begins at bergenPAC in Englewood, NJ. Students are bussed to the JCC in Tenafly at 3:20 pm to swim in the outdoor pool, where the day ends.

Monday-Friday, 9:30 am-4:30 pm, July 10^th – July 28^th 2013

Performance Schedule:
·  Friday, July 26 before Shabbat at Broadway Comedy Club NYC.
   2 Tickets and cover charge to the NYC performance included.
·  Sunday, July 28 2pm at the JCC's Eric Brown Theater.

Price: $995/$1195 (members/non-members). Deposit of $200 is required upon registration.
