ON LINE AND MAIL IN REGISTRATION
Monday, January 4, 2010 for JCC members
Monday, January 11, 2010 for non-members
To register for classes, your JCC membership must be in good stading.
ON-LINE REGISTRATION
On-line registration begins January 4, 2010 at 9 am. Here’s how it works: Go to our website www.jccotp.org and select a class you want to register for. Click on “Add to Cart” and follow the prompts. If you have your email & birth date on file, you can receive your preset password or be able to create your own. If you do not have your email & birth date on file, please email the information to bwilson@jccotp.org or call 201.408.1442 to create an account for registering on-line
MAIL IN
You may register for classes by dropping off your completed form at the front desk OR by mailing it, “Attn: Class Registrar.” The front desk is open Monday through Thursday, 9 am until 10 pm, and Friday and Sunday, 9 am until 4 pm. To be fair to all of our valued members, class registration forms received before January 4, 2010, are collected in random order and processed on January 4, 2010. Class registration forms received after January 4, 2010, (mailed or dropped off at the JCC) are processed sequentially. Class sizes are limited and fill up quickly, so please register on time.
CONFIRMATION
Each registrant will receive a confirmation by mail or on line for the semester. Check your confirmation for accuracy, and bring it to the first session of each class.
PAYMENT
Full payment is required and must accompany your registration. Please make checks payable to the JCC (unless otherwise indicated in class description). All on-line transactions must be processed by credit card, the JCC accepts Visa, MasterCard and American Express.
OVERPAYMENTS
If you paid by check and overpaid due to the wait lists, miscalculation or closed classes, the excess will be applied to any other delinquent JCC balance or refunded by check within two weeks.
UNDERPAYMENTS
Registrations will not be processed until payment is received in full. A member of the JCC staff will contact you about your balance.
WAIT LIST
If a class is full, a wait list may be started. Being on a wait list does not guarantee enrollment; it does prioritize registration if an additional class is formed or space in the class becomes available. If you would like to discuss an alternate class, contact the department directly. To maintain high-quality educational courses, there are minimum and maximum sizes for each class. The JCC reserves the right to cancel any class due to insufficient enrollment.
REFUND AND PROGRAM CHANGE POLICY
Refunds are not available on tickets for plays, concerts, special events or holiday programs.
If a class is cancelled by the JCC
• Before the first class - 100% refund
• After the first class - a prorated refund is issued
If a registrant withdraws
• Before the first class – 10% service fee applies (minimum of $10)
• After first class – a prorated refund less a 10% service fee
• After the second class – no refunds
Any changes, transfers, or withdrawals must be requested in writing in order to be processed. A $10 administrative fee is charged for any changes or transfers.
