High School Teen Leadership Conference

Join teens from all over Bergen County to discuss important social justice issues and what action steps ou can personally take to make a change. This one-day conference is a great opportunity for you to meet your peers from other schools and work together to tackle serious topics such as drugs and alcohol, eating disorders, the LGBTQ community, human trafficking and more.

Middle School Teen Leadership Conference

Middle School Students from all over Bergen County will discuss bullying and action steps they can take to stand up to it. This one-day conference allows students to work together as a team to tackle this important topic and bring ideas back to their schools.

JCC Teen Philanthropy Institute

What if Someone Gave you $5,000 to Help Fix the World?


Team up with other teens to make a difference in the world and gain valuable skills that will prepare you to become an effective leader, problem-solver, consensus-builder and philanthropist who "lives" and embaces Jewish values. Serve on a grant-making board, meet with fundraising experts and give with a sense of excitement and purpose to charities of your choice. Includes an end-of-program banquet planned by your goup. Limited to 20 post Bar/Bat Mitzvah teens in grades 8-10.


Dates are subject to change.Year 1 meets from 1:00-3:00pm and Year 2 meets from 3:00-5:00pm.

Commit Fellowship

Design your own personal social action project to fight social injustices such as hunger, poverty, homelessness, and illiteracy.  This exciting year-long fellowship will offer you the opportunity to meet with mentors and attend programs that will assist you in making a meaningful impact in your community.  Participants will have an exciting opportunity to attend Panim el Panim, a 3-day political action and community service seminar in Washington, DC for an additional charge.
 

Limited to 15 TPI graduates in grades 10-12; service hours provided. Dates subject to change.
