College Scholarship Fund - Applications due May 15, 2014
This countywide fund offers annual financial awards to well-deserving college-bound Jewish students in Bergen County, including students with special needs, who exhibit financial need. Open to undergraduates who wish to attend an accredited 4-year college in the United States or Israel. Grants are not renewable but students may apply each year, up to fou years. Applications should be mailed directly to the Kaplen JCC on the Palisades, Attn: Jessica Wolf Spiegel. Israel Scholarships- Due March 3, 2014
Planning to travel to Israel during the summer or participate in the March of the Living? Scholarships are based on leadership potential, the desire to travel, and the ability to return to the community as a youth leader. Participants must be in 9th to 12th grade currently. Scholarships may also be applied to Gap Year programs in Israel, post-high school.These awards are provided through the endowment funds of Morton and Betty Steinberg, the Rubin Family and the Samuel Warshauer Israel Program Scholarships.
