The Little Spoonies Meetup is a unique opportunity for children managing chronic illnesses to connect with high school mentors who share similar experiences. Through engaging activities, games, and meaningful conversations, participants will build confidence, create friendships, and feel empowered in a welcoming and understanding environment.
🌟 Interactive Icebreakers & Games – Fun activities to spark connections, with snacks, prizes, and raffles!
🌟 Mentorship & Support – Kids will be paired with teen mentors who understand their journey and can provide encouragement.
🌟 Creative Fundraising Project – Brainstorm ideas for future fundraising possibilities and opportunities.
🌟 Optional Parent Info Session – A parallel support group led by a clinical social worker.
💙 Feel Understood – Meet others who truly “get it.”
💙 Reduce Stress – Enjoy a relaxed and positive environment.
💙 Combat Isolation – Connect with a community that cares.
💙 Boost Confidence – Be inspired to embrace your strengths.
This event is open to children managing conditions such as:
