All In The Family - "Siblings are Special Too"

A peer support group just for brothers and sisters of kids with disabilities. This monthly program will provide brothers and sisters of children with disabilities an opportunity to meet others, discuss common joys and concerns, and have fun.

This program is designed for children in the 7-12 year old range. Our group is facilitated by social workers and Guttenberg Center staff. Each session includes a group meeting, snack and activities within the JCC. 

Materials Fee $10 per session.     This program is sponsored in part by the EGL Foundation

Parent-To-Parent

Monthly support group for parents and caregivers. Participants network with each other as well as gain valuable information from experts in the field. Facilitated by staff from the Guttenberg Center for Special Services.

Private Music Therapy

Private Music Therapy at the JCC incorporates a music-centered approach to working with individuals with disabilities. Music Therapy explores the relationship of music and improvisation to communication, cognitive, social/emotional and physical development and is effective with the special needs community - especially for those with autism.
