Brass

We are excited to be opening our Fall 2020-21 semester on Monday, October 5! Registration is ongoing.

Our model for this semester will be a combination of virtual lessons, occasional in-person lessons and classes, as well as hybrid options. We are following the safety guidelines as set by the CDC and local agencies, as well as parent requests and comfort level. For information on returning to our campus, please visit jccotp.org/faqs. We look forward to having you join us on this musical journey!

Young Artists Programs

Available for brass, percussion, piano, strings, winds, and voice, the Young Artists Programs include opportunities for monthly recitals and celebrations. Note: Suzuki guitar requires eight parent education workshops.  Students taking private lessons for the first time can take a lessons-only program, but are encouraged to add one or more classes or ensembles. After the first year, all private lesson students are required to add one or more classes or ensembles to their program.

Choose a 30-, 45-, 60-, 75-, 90-, or 120-min. private lesson per week.
(Note: 60, 75, 90, and 120 min options can be divided into two lessons per week. Beginning students in violin, cello and piano are required to take two 30 min lessons per week.)

ADD ONE OR. MORE CLASSES AND/OR ENSEMBLES:

  • Musikgarten or musicianship class
  • Instrumental group class
  • Performance ensemble (by audition: choruses, orchestras, jazz ensemble chamber music group, percussion ensemble, flute ensemble)

  • ADD A SECONDARY INSTRUMENT
