We’re excited to announce the return of Stand-Up For The Arts, a night filled with laughter and unforgettable performances! This year’s event will feature the Emmy Award-winning comedian Alex Edelman, fresh off his victory for Outstanding Writing for a Variety Special for his critically acclaimed one-man show, Just for Us.

Joining him is the hilarious Rachel Feinstein, named one of Variety’s “10 Comics to Watch” for 2024. Rachel is known for her hit Netflix special Big Guy, and has starred alongside Amy Schumer in Inside Amy Schumer and Hulu’s Life of Beth.

Get ready for a night of top-tier comedy that supports a great cause!

Event proceeds support arts activities for all ages and abilities at the Kaplen JCC. The arts are a vibrant thread that brings us together here at the J. They are essential to a wide range of programs with immeasurable impact, from enriching the lives of all ages to being a powerful tool for mental health and well-being. We’re coming together as a community to celebrate the arts, uplift spirits, and show our unwavering support. 

We are pleased to offer four ticket levels which not only give you great seats for an entertaining evening, but also include a tax-deductible donation to the Kaplen JCC in support of arts-related, mission-driven activities including: 

• After-school art classes for Israeli children recently arrived in our community after being displaced by terrorism;

• JCC Community Theater performances educating the broader community about Antisemitism; and

• Senior programs which use art therapy to slow the progression of Alzheimer’s disease and dementia.
