Efrochim BeEmek

Our youngest group- Efrochim BeEmek (chicks in Emek) is aimed at 3-year-olds that will be turning 4 in the coming year. The program provides exposure to content, vocabulary, and Israeli/ Jewish culture in Hebrew. Through 32 weekly meetings of 50 minutes, this program presents topics closest to the children’s world (colors, shapes, animals, their home, etc..). We will incorporate songs, art and craft projects, and movement sessions. Every week, they will listen to one of the Israeli children’s classic stories, related to that week’s topic. We will celebrate Jewish/ Israeli holidays in Hebrew. The varied content turns the children into active participants in the Hebrew learning experience.

The “Efrohim of Emek” meets once a week for a total of 32 times a year on Wednesdays from 3:45-4:35.

Haverim BeIvrit

The program Haverim BeIvrit (Friends in Hebrew) is intended for children in Pre-K who will celebrate their 5^th birthday during the year. The children will enjoy a yearly program immersed in Hebrew, based on subjects from their world (friendships, family, nature, animals and more), seasons, and holidays of the year. Additional emphasis is placed on the introduction to the letters and the phonetics of the words which will lead to the positive path of the aleph bet.  Often the weekly topic will be connected to the letter of the week.

Friends in Hebrew meets once a week for a total of 32 times a year on Thursdays between the hours 3:45-4:35.
